Before his emergence as a leader in eco-focused technologies, Laszlo served for nearly two decades as a business and technology expert for some of the world’s largest investment banks. His clients, including JP Morgan Chase, Deutsche Bank and UBS, enjoyed the results of his ability to develop and integrate custom trading and risk management solutions that were used in some of their most critical business sectors.
His experience in these arenas, coupled with his keen interests in nature, technology and climate change, gave birth to reduce: the platform revolutionising the world’s carbon markets by lowering barriers of entry and making the trading of carbon credits accessible. Laszlo’s goal is to allow anyone, from governments to retail consumers, to safely and efficiently access the carbon markets and take control of their climate impact.
Chidi brings Poseidon nearly two decades of B2B and team-building success in financial services. Chidi has a wealth of managerial experience that qualifies him to lead Poseidon’s operations. Before coming onboard, Chidi served for twelve years as Accenture’s UK Trading Platforms Business Lead. He capped this tenure by securing over $100,000,000 in partnerships over his last four years.
Chidi has also built and managed global teams of 100+ individuals on several occasions, and is an expert in implementing end-to-end large-scale business process and management programs. His most recent experiences, including those at Poseidon, focus on helping organisations deal with technological change. His ability to comprehend, communicate, and optimise complex financial transactions is second to none.
Cesare’s programming education and experience—combined with his knowledge of the blockchain’s history and dynamics—assure Poseidon’s consumer-facing products enjoy both solid technical foundations and advanced user experiences (UX).
Cesare earned degrees in Computer Science from Supélec Grande École (France), and Electronics from the Polytechnic University of Turin (Italy). He also holds an MBA from INSEAD, one of the world’s leading graduate business schools. Nearly one third of his 18-year-career working at the juncture of finance and technology included leading an international team of 70+ qualitative analysts for Australian and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ)’s, creating the bank's new Global Markets Pricing and Risk Management Platform, and establishing the APAC Professional Services team for the international software vendor Murex.
Ian is an accomplished designer with a reputation for innovative and radical concepts that have won him awards and accolades in diverse fields including aviation, luxury yachts and the automotive sector. He and his brother Neill formed the consulting venture Adaptive Space in 2000 and have worked with major automotive manufacturers for over a decade, including Porsche, Mercedes and Audi. Ian has developed and directed designs from concept through to production implementation, and is active in all creative aspects of component, system and total vehicle design, exterior and interior.
Ian graduated with honours in Industrial Design (Transportation) from Coventry University.
Alex has lived on all continents and brings over two decades of B2B brand building and B2B brand strategy experience to Poseidon. As the founder of the Stuttgart based brand consulting agency medienformer, which has been operating since 1998, he is responsible for the marketing and branding of Poseidon and heads the communications team. Alex created a B2B focused strategy called brand polarisation that enables companies to use a unique method to develop their brand and steer their marketing teams. Together with his team at medienformer, Alex has successfully used this strategy to relaunch leading brands with annual global sales revenues in excess of €5 billion. Notably, medienformer is the brand consulting firm for the single-seater supercar Mono, built by Poseidon's strategic partner BAC. Alex graduated in marketing and communications design in Stuttgart.
Michael has over a decade of lead development experience in the areas of big data, data analytics, and machine learning. He is proficient in over 2 dozen programming languages and virtually all major software development frameworks. Over the past few years, he turned his focus to the emerging technologies of blockchain and artificial intelligence. He has created real-time analytics and artificial intelligence solutions for various industry sectors.
Notably, Michael has developed various smart contract solutions on the Ethereum and Stellar platforms, gaining expert knowledge in key areas of blockchain development. Prior to joining Poseidon, he was instrumental to delivering large scale data projects for the UK Government, Spotify, Intel and Publicis Groupe. Michael studied Computational Physics at Heriot-Watt University.
Willie is an proven storyteller who brings Poseidon eight years’ experience in marketing and communications. As Executive Director of the Fitzgerald Museum, he led a highly successful rebrand which prioritised media relations, public and private partnerships, internal resources and high-impact events to effect +500% increases in four of the museum’s five KPIs. Willie’s marketing and branding success is complemented by ten years' B2B and B2C sales experience. Early in these years, he gained an international perspective and excelled in customer relationship management while building lifelong relationships at the Beaulieu Group.
Willie studied Copywriting at The Creative Circus portfolio school in Atlanta, and he holds a Bachelors in English from Washington and Lee University and a Masters in Liberal Arts from Auburn University at Montgomery.
David is an economist who brings the Poseidon team twenty years’ commercial experience and a portfolio of global contacts. His career has molded him into a first rate business analyst with a multilingual international management background. He is able to both lead diverse teams, as well as serve in support and consulting roles.
Beyond his firm grasp of global economies, David adds over a decade of expertise in renewable energy. He possesses an impressive track within the Solar PV, Wind Power and Energy Storage, and has grown increasingly active in emerging technologies through involvement with start-up projects.
David’s overarching value to Poseidon is his prowess creating and trouble-shooting business plans, identifying points of leverage for rapid scaling, and managing investment relationships.
Alex has 15 years' experience as a Client Service Manager, helping clients to shape and successfully realize complex goals. In this capacity, he has worked with large corporations on critical projects, including the migration of a treasury consultancy firm and its entire client base to a new custom-built service portal, the delivery of an organisation-wide recharge model for a UK local authority, and a new asset and liability management system for a bank.
Alex possesses excellent communication skills, which enable him to build and manage effective teams that deliver value-added outcomes—particularly where multiple functional areas or organisations are involved. His dedication to case-specific results ensures his clients receive the highest quality service.
Abyel joins the Poseidon team after graduating with a BA Business Management from the University of Northampton. He developed a keen understanding of the blockchain community, and how this community affects markets dealing in digital assets, while researching and writing his senior thesis—"How Blockchain Technology Will Impact Traditional Banking System in the UK."
Poseidon relies on Abyel's experience to promote brand recognition and develop conversation in blockchain communities about Poseidon's reach, function, and activities. He is able to navigate these spaces better than most, thanks to the international perspective gained while living in Italy, the United States and United Kingdom. Abyel speaks Italian, English, and Spanish.
Brad is an entrepreneur, investor, mentor and advisor who has started and bootstrapped several companies from inception to maturity over the past 20 years. As the co-founder of Blockchain Investors Consortium with over 5 billion dollars allocated to blockchain and cryptocurrency projects, Brad has access to extensive deal flow and is experienced in analysing disruptive technologies. Brad has participated in dozens of successful crowd sales, which have raised billions from 100,000s of investors. Brad also served as managing director of Yasar Corporation where he mentored, advised and invested in more than 50 companies. A big believer in coaching younger generations of entrepreneurs, Brad serves as a mentor for the Pepperdine Alumni Association.
Brad holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a Bachelor of Science degree in International Business Management from Pepperdine University as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in Applied Sciences Math from Académie de Grenoble.
Marco has nearly twenty years of experience as a quantitative analyst. He has experience as a company founder (Quantlib), and as head of quantitative research at Statpro, a global leader in investment portfolio analysis and asset valuation. At Statpro, Marco was instrumental in the research and development of pricing functions and risk-management analytics for a wide spectrum of asset classes. More recently, his interests evolved as quantitative finance became an even more data-driven discipline, and the emergence crypto currencies challenged more traditional financial instruments.
Marco holds a Masters and PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Johns Hopkins University, and an undergraduate degree in theoretical physics from the University of Milan. Following Johns Hopkins, Marco served as a postdoctoral research associate at City College in New York, where he focused on computational fluid dynamics, and later as an adjunct professor in quantitative finance at the University of Milan-Bicocca (Italy). Most recently, Marco was a lecturer in the Master of Finance program at the ESSEC business school (Singapore). While most of his research papers are proprietary, he often presents his work at conferences targeted to both academics and practitioners.

Lisa worked in the oil and gas sector for >17 years, closely involved in all aspects of climate change strategy development & implementation, public policy & carbon market formation, sector coalition building and low-carbon business development. She was a driving force behind the UK Emissions Trading Group, the CCAC Oil & Gas Methane Partnership (which she Co-Chaired), the Sustainable Gas Institute and the CEO-led Oil & Gas Climate Initiative (OGCI). Lisa helped BG Group secure multiple industry awards for sustainability.
Before BG Group Lisa held various roles at BP including Director of the BP Carbon Ventures corporate-VC fund. Lisa successfully secured capital for many innovative investments in sustainable land-use and forestry, low-carbon technologies and bio-energy, including first-of-their-kind deals for the private sector such as the World Bank’s Forest Carbon Partnership Facility (FCPF). Lisa is a mother of four and originally from New Zealand. In 2017 she was recognised by the World Economic Forum as a Young Global Leader.

Hugh is an experienced commercial director whose team provides expert advice to businesses around the world on key issues related to climate change, including work on sustainability strategy, resource efficiency, supply chain risk and technology implementation. He has led projects in UK, mainland Europe, Africa and Asia, and has overseen the development of successful propositions across numerous sectors and disciplines, helping to shape the Carbon Trust's work in value chain sustainability, low carbon assurance and science-based targets for businesses.
At Ecosphere+, Jessica is responsible for driving demand in emerging carbon markets, such as offering retailers and consumers Poseidon’s blockchain-based technology to account for their carbon impact. She has been at the intersection of environment and finance for over twelve years, working in the British Columbia government designing North America’s first carbon tax and the Western Climate Initiative’s cap and trade system. She then worked with the founding team to launch Evok Innovations, a private sector $100 million fund that invests in early stage clean technologies to reduce greenhouse gases, followed by rolling up her sleeves in one of the world’s top 100 cleantech companies to raise capital and develop the go to market strategy.
